We envision a world where every child thrives in a safe, stable, loving home. CASA of Central Texas, Inc. provides high quality, best interest advocacy for children and youth in the child welfare system. We train and empower dedicated CASA volunteers to ensure children’s needs are met and their voices lifted. We commit to strengthen the connections and well-being of children in foster care, one family at a time.

Comal 40th Celebration and Advocate Social

Our final 40th celebration event of the year was held in Comal – the county where it all started in 1985! We combined it with our advocate appreciation social and gathered in fellowship with volunteers, board members, and supporters at Tavern on Castell. Over 100 guests attended to honor the work our Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers and staff do day in and out for children and families involved in the child welfare system. Small moments can make a big impact!

Adoption Day 2025

Adoption Day belongs to the children and families! We celebrated 11 amazing families and 15 incredible children whose hearts grew immeasurably as they secured a forever home in a legal ceremony.

New Advocates Sworn In!

Thanks to Judge Thomas Stuckey for swearing in our 6 newest and last advocates of 2025! Please help us welcome Jill Kammerdiener of Caldwell, Kimberly Black of Guadalupe, Jennifer LaFontaine of Guadalupe, Ashley Martinez of Hays, Christina Gallegos of Guadalupe, and Christy George of Guadalupe.

We MET our goal of 50 new advocates by the year’s end, six more compared to last year!
